Captain Connor Flynn
Captain Connor Flynn is a graduate of Massachusetts Maritime Academy (B.S. Marine Engineering) and a former U.S. Navy Strategic Sealift Officer.
His commitment to safety was forged at sea, sailing as a Third Engineer for Military Sealift Command. In 2018, Captain Flynn graduated from the U.S. Navy Rescue Swimmer School at Naval Air Station Jacksonville. His final four years were spent as a Training and Operations Officer with Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron Eight, in Newport, RI.
While working for the Duxbury Harbormaster Department, he handled every tier of maritime emergency effectively as a marine first responder. Today, he continues to protect the local community ashore as a dedicated public safety professional.
Captain Flynn has sailed, fished, and navigated the waters of Plymouth Harbor and Cape Cod Bay since the age of 10. As a U.S. Coast Guard licensed Merchant Marine Officer, he holds a 25 ton Master’s license, OUPV Near Coastal, 2nd Engineer Motor Unlimited, 3rd Assistant Engineer Steam and Gas Turbine Unlimited, Commercial Assistance Towing, and Radar Observer Unlimited.
