Captain Connor Flynn is a graduate of Massachusetts Maritime Academy and a former U.S. Navy Strategic Sealift Officer.
His commitment to safety was forged at sea, sailing as a 3rd Assistant Engineer for Military Sealift Command. In 2018, Captain Flynn graduated from the U.S. Navy Rescue Swimmer School at Naval Air Station Jacksonville. His final four years were spent as a Training and Operations Officer with Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron Eight, in Newport, RI.
Captain Flynn has sailed, fished, and navigated the waters of Plymouth Harbor and Cape Cod Bay since the age of 10. As a U.S. Coast Guard licensed Merchant Marine Officer, he holds a 25 ton Master’s license, OUPV Near Coastal, 2nd Engineer Motor Unlimited, 3rd Assistant Engineer Steam and Gas Turbine Unlimited, Commercial Assistance Towing, and Radar Observer Unlimited.
